  • “Márton Demeter's mentorship helps us to publish our research in high-quality international journals. Publishing a paper in a serious, internationally renowned journal is a long process, a series of interlinked steps, which is much easier to achieve with an experienced mentor. It is like climbing a big mountain with a mountain guide who knows everything about the mountain. Márton pinpoints the path to success and guides you through these steps, pushing you through the difficulties. Moreover, he is a highly knowledgeable, good-humoured, successful man with a positive outlook, whom I recommend with all my heart!”

  • “Márton Demeter and Tamás Tóth represent a quality in national and international academia that unquestionably predestines them to be at the forefront of the academic sphere. This is confirmed not only by their own publication activities, which are significant at international level, but also by the immense humility, attention and dedication with which they mentor and accompany fellow researchers along their scientific careers, sparing no time or energy to help and guide them in the knowledge that they can benefit from their advice. My first-hand experience confirms that as mentors, they can effectively contribute to raising the quality and effectiveness of both research and publication activities through effective attunement and collective reflection, while respecting the autonomy of the mentored person to a large extent. I can heartily recommend working with them to all colleagues interested in academia, whatever their field of study.”

  • Dr. Tamás Tóth stands out in the fields of political communication and academic inequality, with a strong track record of publishing in top international social science journals. As his student during my master's and now as a doctoral candidate under his supervision, I have seen firsthand his dedication to research, teaching, and mentorship. His ability to make sense of complex issues in social sciences is impressive, and his guidance has been crucial in our collaborative research on populism and inequality in academia. He is not just a scholar but also a supportive guide who encourages his students to excel. Working alongside him as a co-author several times, I have experienced his collaborative nature, which has greatly enriched our work together. His skill set goes far beyond research, showcasing his broad capabilities as an academic.

  • I am very happy to write this evaluation of academic cooperation with Dr. Tamás Tóth. Dr. Tóth became member of an international research team of a project Comparing Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Alternative Leadership Styles in the V4, which was supported by a grant from International Visegrad Fund 2021-2023. I was coordinator of this project and Dr. Tóth was recommnded to me as „a talented researcher with exceptional professional education and experience working in international research groups .“ This recommendation was correct and was fully verified during our cooperation. I can testify that Dr. Tóth was a very productive researcher, he was active in all online work meetings, in the round table and in the colloquium, which were part of the project. He contributed significantly to the main output of the project - the book Leadership in the Time of Covid, which has just now been published by the Central European University Press. I would very much like to have the opportunity with Dr. Tóth to work with again, he is an excellent, active, diligent and collaborative scholar with innovative ideas, and a great member of the research team.
